By accessing or using Mercatus, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use our services. These terms apply to all users, including API consumers, traders, and visitors.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.

API access is provided on a pay-per-use basis with a 2% platform fee. You agree not to exceed rate limits, reverse-engineer our systems, or use the API for any illegal purpose. We reserve the right to suspend access for violations.

Token block trades on the spot market are subject to a 2% fee for both makers and takers. All trades are final once confirmed. Mercatus acts as a marketplace facilitator and does not guarantee trade execution or token availability.

Prediction market participation is subject to applicable laws in your jurisdiction. Mercatus does not provide financial advice. Prediction market outcomes are determined by objective, verifiable criteria as described in each market's resolution rules.

Payments may be made via credit/debit card or cryptocurrency (USDC/USDT). All amounts are denominated in USD. Refunds are processed on a case-by-case basis. Cryptocurrency deposits are non-reversible once confirmed on-chain.

Mercatus is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to trading losses or API downtime.

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 30 days in advance.
